Awesome Southern cooking at it's best! Tasty fried chicken & side vegetable dishes that even make a vegetarian smile! Dessert, oh you've gotta leave room for that, or at least get some to go. Prices are very reasonable. We sat in the sit down area and the wait staff was super! Definitely a return visit is in order👍👍👍

I celebrated my nomination this evening in this great place. I am glad to say that we passed a outstanding evening and the restaurant was definitely one of the reasons for that fruitful gathering. The crew participated in a graceful manner, the meals were very good and my guests were extremely joyful. We shall absolutely visit again for more events. thanks very much.

If you like home style cooking, Ward's is the place for you. Everything I have ever had, I have loved. The price is also great. Extremely reasonable. We actually live an hour away and we'll head down at least once a month to eat because its that good!

The meals remind me of long ago, having dinner at my grandparents house. Good home cooked food, family friendly atmosphere, and some of the friendliest staff of any establishment I've ever eaten. I've eaten here many many times thus far and the food was great every time. I hopen to return again soon.

We arrived at this place for a meeting. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. the staff were so friendly and we had a fantastic feeling. The meal was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed every moment and we shall definitely come back again. Keep it up.

I have been going here since I was a small kid. I am now 60 yrs old and have never been disappointed. It is the only restaurant that has people lined up out the door waiting for a table year after year. Heat southern food.

Great service for our meeting room. The staff is always courteous, efficient and accommodating. The variety of foods on the buffet and the price are very good. We love holding our annuall meeting at Wades.

Y'all this place is the beesknees. The food always tastes so fresh and the service is great. They're always lined out the door for a reason. I suggest a Sunday buffet and that place would have to double in size!

Good meats and vegetables. We always do the buffet side and always enjoy the food and have good service on our refills.

Went for a family reunion, so we secured a private room. It's a buffet style place. You pick a meat, then you can have as many sides as you want to fill your plate and the two bowls they give you. Great southern style comfort foods, including desserts. All flavorful and well prepared. I would have given it 5-stars, except I didn't think much of the beverage choices, especially sugar free ones. In spite of that, I would definitely go back again.

From the moment you step in this place the waiters give you an excellent feeling. Very congenial team, it is a good restaurant to enjoy with buddies or with your date. tasty cooking, creative chef, reasonable pay and excellent service. Warmly recommended.

The past month me and my wife have had to get take out due to the virus. Not ONCE has our order been wrong. The food is always great and the service is even better. We love Wade’s and will always come back!

Best home cooking I have had in Spartanburg. The food was so delicious and our waitress was amazingly helpful and hospitable. I can't wait to go back and I highly recommend.

Food was really great. Only issue was my family having to see the young girls and women working in different situations with such tight pants on you could see under clothes. I think the staff should be dressed more appropriately in this family setting.

The food was delicious and plentiful. If you haven't had their turkey and dressing you have missed a treat. Today is my birthday so that was my choice for lunch to go eat at Wade's. Almost made me forget that I turned 60. We had a sweet waitress she brought me out a dessert of my choice plus a big Happy Birthday from the staff.

Great restaurant as close to home cooking as you can get. I went to get 3 dz. Yeast rolls, 1 dz corn bread muffins, & a quart of turkey gravy for thanksgiving . Oh yea can't leave without lunch 😉 chicken, dressing/gravy, cranberry sauce, sweet potato sooulfe, green beans, yeast roll & sweet tea.. Delicious... if you haven't been definitely put it on your list of places to eat.

Delicious vegetables, meat, cornbread. Everyone was friendly. Very busy at 2 pm on a Thursday. The food was worth the wait. I had meatloaf and veggies. It was all especially good and our waitstaff was very attentive. Reasonably priced. Look forward to going back.!

I'm glad my wife called our order in, this place had a line out the door and down the sidewalk. A typical Sunday. Very good home cooking, still hot after the 20 minute drive home. I had the meatloaf with Mac n cheese, corn and potatoes and gravy, my wife had the veggie plate and my son had the breast and leg. Everything was delicious except for the cornbread. Wade's is famous for their rolls but the cornbread not so much. Still warrants a 5 star rating. Thanks for a great meal.

The self serve is great and I love buffet style restaurants anyway so this is right up my alley. Prices are worth what you get and highly recommend Express service.

After trying Wade's once, I knew I would be back again and again. Food is great, staff is great, and the location is good too. Just be warned, this place fills up fast for lunch and dinner.

Some don’t like it but i love it. It’s hard to beat mash taters and gravy, with hamburger steak and alottta green beans!! Another one of my faves in Spartanburg to eat! Always packed so be prepared to wait. ESP on a Sunday after church let’s out!

WADE'S IS A GREAT FAMILY OWNED RESTAURANT WHERE EVERYTHING IS HOMEMADE FROM THE BREAD TO THE ENTRE'S RIGHT DOWN TO THE DESSERTS AND THE ENVIRONMENT IS ALWAYS CALM. I AM 53 AND TODAY I TOLD A WAITRESS WHO HAS BECOME A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE HOW I RECALL GRANDPA WADE THE ORIGINAL OWNER BACK WHEN I WAS ABOUT 5 OR 6 AND THE RESTAURANT WAS LOCATED ON PINE STREET THAT HE WOULD GET A STYROFOAM CUP AND PUT SOME ICE AND SOME COCA COLA IN IT THEN, HE WOULD ADD JUST A SPOON OF VANILLA ICE CREAM AND GIVE US KIDS A STRAW AND SAY PUSH THE ICE CREAM DOWN A LITTLE AND YOU KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE;; AN ICE CREAM FLOAT 😉 AND THAT WAS ALWAYS WORTH WAITING FOR!!😁

We went to the express line. The fried chicken was full of flavor and juicy! The line on Sunday afternoon was crazy. Be prepared to stand in the sun. We stood in line about 40 minutes. The service was good even though it was crowded.

One of my local favs for many years. Great home style southern food, the wait staff is very attentive and friendly. Yes, they now accept credit and debit cards. Very busy during peak hours so you may have to wait a few minutes to be seated. Highly recommend.

Wade's #1 for a home cooked meal, fast and friendly atmosphere. Once you try Wade's you will be coming back and bringing friends and family to enjoy. Tea and coffee included with meal as well.

Several members of our family decided to go to Wade's for Thanksgiving. We were in town for a funeral and no one was in the mood to cook. When I saw the line wrapped around the building I didn't have much hope for a good experience. I was pleasantly surprised. Our waitress Tiffany handled our party of 13 at 2 tables like a champ! Our food came out quickly and everything was hot and correct. The food was delicious and just what we were expecting. The whole team at Wade's moves like a well oiled machine and I was impressed with how they handled such a rush. Well done!

Well worth stopping here. Great food and good service. Good selections on the menu at a great price. I would have given it 5 stars if the food was still the same as my memory of the Wade's awesome food from the early 60's. I was fortunate enough to eat there.

The service was great and the food came out fast. Summer our waitress was excellent and I watch her as she had at least 3 tables as our table came in around the same time and she made sure all of the tables was well taken care of with ease. Great service.

The best food, staff , rolls/cornbread,tea, coffee away from home. You can't beat the variety you are offered. Wade's knows how to feed you and be happy, happy happy. Take out is awesome too.

They offer a vast variety of delicious food. I loved dining here. Employees are always very kind, prices are affordable and the spot is always kept clean.

Thursday afternoon 1:45 pm-ish. Busy but not too busy. Only a second wait then seated. Waitress was awesome. Food came quickly. I ordered grill chicken with grilled mushrooms, hashbrowns casserole and sweet potato souffle $9 approx. Always good food and service here

This place has good, southern-style food down pat, with great prices (bread and tea are included) and fast, friendly service thrown in as well. My family and I routinely drive 30 minutes south from NC to get a meat-and-two (or three, especially if either apple cobbler or sweet potato souflee is a "vegetable" that day). The meats and vegetables change somewhat daily on the menu, with a few standards (fried chicken, hamburger steak, etc.) on there fairly constantly. Check the website for what they're serving (or read the board while you're in the fast-moving line), go in, sit down, and enjoy.

Our waitress was punctual, and she explained everything well on our first visit tonight. The burgers were some of the best we have had anywhere in years, and the smoked wings were so juicy and had a great smoke flavor. We will be back!
